- Do you sell to consumers?
- No. Al Bahiya is wholesale-only. We sell to verified US retailers, hotels, spas, event houses and licensed cosmetic resellers.
- What is the minimum opening order?
- $250 on the opening order. Reorders have no minimum, though most accounts buy in $400–$800 increments.
- Do you require a resale certificate?
- Yes, before we can ship sales-tax-free. Any US state-issued resale or exemption certificate is fine.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- ACH and wire (preferred), all major credit cards (3% surcharge over $1,000), and net-30 invoicing for approved accounts.
- How do I get on net-30 terms?
- Typically after your second reorder, with two trade references. We run a soft credit check on accounts over $5,000 in open balance.
- Can I get samples?
- We offer a $250 paid sampler kit that ships within 48 hours — three oud grades, two attars and a bakhoor variety. The cost credits to your first wholesale order.
- Where do you ship from?
- Our warehouse in northwest Las Vegas, Nevada — 3300 San Juan Dr. UPS Ground covers the lower 48 in 2–5 business days.
- Do you do private label?
- Yes, with a 250-unit minimum per SKU and a 10–14 week lead time. See the Private Label page.
- Do you ship internationally?
- Canada and Mexico routinely. EU, UK and GCC case-by-case. International buyer is responsible for customs.
- How do you grade oud?
- On color, density, resin content, burn behavior and origin documentation. Grades B, A, Double A and Super. See the journal entry on grading oud for the full framework.
- Is the oud CITES-compliant?
- All cross-border shipments carry the documentation they require. The majority of our material is cultivated agarwood; wild-harvested lots are documented separately.
- Can I visit the warehouse?
- Yes, by appointment. We are not open to the public, but we welcome trade visits.
- What is the difference between attar and eau de parfum?
- Attar is a concentrated oil-based fragrance with no alcohol — it lasts months per small bottle and sits close to the skin. Eau de parfum is alcohol-based, projects further, and lasts roughly six to eight hours. Most retail floors stock both.
- Are your fragrances halal?
- Our attars and bakhoor are alcohol-free and made with halal-permissible ingredients. Our eau de parfum line uses pharmaceutical-grade ethanol and is not marketed as halal. Documentation is available on request.
- What is bakhoor and how is it used?
- Bakhoor is wood chips soaked in fragrant resin and oil, burned on a charcoal disc or electric burner. The resulting smoke perfumes a room, fabric and hair. Common in Gulf homes; increasingly stocked in American gift and home-fragrance retail.
- How long do your products last on the shelf?
- Sealed attars and bakhoor hold for five years or more in proper storage. Eau de parfum holds two to three years sealed. Keep stock between 60° and 72°F, out of direct sunlight.
- Do you offer dropshipping?
- Yes, for approved accounts. We pick, pack and ship in unbranded boxes with your packing slip. Setup fee waived after $2,000 in dropship volume.
- What case packs are standard?
- Attars ship 12 per case; bakhoor tins ship 24 per case; eau de parfum 6 per case. Mixed cases available over $1,500 wholesale.
- Do you carry alcohol-free perfume oils only, or also sprays?
- Both. Roughly 60% of what we move is alcohol-free attar and perfume oil; the rest is eau de parfum sprays in the same accord families.
- What countries do you source from?
- Primarily the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, Cambodia and Indonesia. Producer details are on the case paperwork for every shipment.
- How do I open a wholesale account?
- Fill out the request form on the Contact page with your business name, resale certificate state and the categories you are interested in. We respond within one business day.
